Music assisted mindfulness is a collaborative, client centered approach to coaching that engages the traveller in specific induction with the intention to relax and alter their state of consciousness so that they can release the busi-ness of the mind and can deeper their awareness to other states of being, whether it be physical, emotional, intuitive and spiritual. Through the use of pre-selected classical music listening programs, the individual/group is guided into a deeper place of knowing and connection. The music assists in that it attracts and focuses the attention, further relaxing and energizing the body. The process of music assisted mindfulness with the aid of the mindfulness coach, provides opportunities for emotional catharsis, change, increased awareness and a can be a pathway into deeper unconscious and awakening the spiritual. The relationship between the music, the imager and facilitator is active and consensual. Each session is customized to the needs of the client in the moment and overall personal/professional goals are established at the onset of the coaching agreement.
